the dilemna

The Guzzi V7 has the awesome retro look plus it's light weight ...but not fast by anyone's standards and on the test ride I wasn't diggin' the shaft drive or the shifter. Nice for weekend trips and even 2 up riding.
Red (or black) Thruxton definitely has the looks nailed. I like that it's thin and well balanced. Still not a screamer performance-wise. Fine for going camping (I think). Thought about a T-100 but ultimately I'd keep modifying it until it looked more like the Thrux.

The Triumph Scrambler looks Purdy Cool. But that's about it. A bit too tall for me and under powered? Prolly good for camping and carrying a passenger.

Triumph Street Triple is fast enough and looks cool in my opinion. Not good for camping or 2 up riding. Also doesn't satisfy my retro fascination. No brainer otherwise.
le Tigre - a camping machine. Very versatile and utilitarian but looks it too. Also a bit tall for me. Fast enough and love the triple motor.

Honda CBR 600rr - too much fun. Very impractical. Looks slick in black. Light.
or a Suzuki GSX-R750 - ditto
